Wheel Pros signs an acquisition agreement with Performance Replicas

Leading developer of branded aftermarket wheels, Wheel Pros, LLC has recently inked an acquisition deal with Performance Replicas, Inc. to take over its assets. Performance Replicas is a renowned entity in the factory reproduction wheel space and has long-standing relationships with various established internet retailers and national retailers. Wheels developed by Performance Replicas are popular among automotive aftermarket enthusiasts for its superior reliability, availability and quality.

Commenting on the acquisition, Randy White, Co-founder and CEO, Wheel Pros, said that including Performance Replicas in its portfolio allows the company to better serve its enthusiast customers that have a broad variety of vehicles and aspire to an assortment of styles.

By delivering factory reproduction wheels along with its 22 proprietary wheel brands, Wheel Pros not only satisfies all driver types but also simplifies their shopping experience.

As per Jody Groce, Co-founder and President, Wheel Pros, the company has had a long-standing relation with Dave and his team for decades and is thrilled to expand its portfolio with his official products. For a long-time, Wheel Pros’ customers have been demanding for more of Performance Replicas’ products, and by investing in it, the company will be able to meet these unfulfilled demands and offer the same level of availability as all other brands to its customers.

For the record, Wheel Pros is backed by Clearlake Capital Group, a leading private investment firm. José E. Feliciano, Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Clearlake, along with Colin Leonard (Clearlake’s partner), commented that Wheel Pros has managed to showcase tremendous resilience this year, operating through the global pandemic while still breaking previous sales records and has stayed vigilant for accretive and strategic acquisitions.

The company is confident that Wheel Pros will maintain its strong performance as consumers go on to spend more time outdoors and continue to personalize and upgrade their personal vehicles.
