HEC Montreal partners with X2O Media to offer engaging online classes

Considering that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted the lifestyle of people worldwide, the online world has come to the rescue. Among many renowned institutes that have shifted their base to virtual platforms to conduct online classes is HEC Montréal.

The Canadian business school has reportedly partnered with X2O Media Inc. to offer an immersive online classroom experience. This has enabled the institute to offer engaging online courses for its executive education program. With this move, X2O Media has launched its first installation of the X2O Virtual Classroom in Canada.

For the record, X2O media is one of the leading providers of virtual collaboration technology for enterprise and education institutes. The company has collaborated with CBCI Telecom Inc., a trusted advisor of unified communications solutions, to deploy a purpose-built hybrid virtual classes that replicates the energy and one-on-one interaction of an in-class lecture.

Sources cite that the X20 virtual classroom solution allows executive education faculty members to expand their curriculum and offer an immersive leading experience for participants located across the globe. The result is a lecture that is engaging, setting the online stage for dynamic exchanges of ideas for elevating a diversity of viewpoints compared to the physical classroom.
