Draganfly offers social distancing equipment for commercial production

Draganfly Inc., the Canada-based firm specializing in drone and UAV technologies has reportedly announced that veteran commercial producers named Ron Cicero and Richard Goldstein have selected the company as the sole provider of vital signs and social distancing equipment for their commercial and television production.

Cicero and Goldstein spent more than two decades producing high profile films and TV sports for Fortune 100 clients and their organizations. They are currently leading their new initiative in the equipment rental space and commercial production services.

Sources cite that the company’s vital intelligence safe set solution, which offers vital signs and social distancing measurement software and hardware for the commercial and television production industry will be the keystone of this new initiative.  The company will immediately deliver the first four units (USD70K) of an eventual fleet of units to supply the annualized USD 6 billion commercial production industry.

The Draganfly vital intelligence safe set solution is a zero contact health measurement platform used to identify possible virus infections and respiratory conditions for the safety of firm and commercial crews. The novel solution is developed to be used on set and areas where people congregate like schools, shopping malls, airports, and other high traffic locations.

The new technology does not garner private data or use facial recognition technology, but rather the system is used to recognize patterns and assist production firms to make better decisions and react faster to reduce potential health threats.

Speaking on which, Ron Cicero said that Draganfly’s technology will add a curtail layer of screening for production sets and efficiently enable people to adhere to the production firm's safety policy. He added the technology will offer a solution for its clients’ productions, allowing crew and cast back on set while giving them a relief that they are adhering to CDC and other agencies' guidelines.
