603 Solar deploys solar system to offer green for Shelburne community

Enphase Energy, the California-based energy technology firm, has reportedly announced that 603 Solar installed a 16.8-kWDC solar array on the town hall building in a bid to supply green energy for the community of Shelburne, New Hampshire. After other latest energy efficiency improvements to the town hall building, the solar system from 603 Solar is anticipated to offset 100 % of the building’s energy needs.

Sources cite that 603 Solar’s team specified 42 Enphase IQ 7A™ microinverters for town hall building, and the solar system was locally deployed by Roger Adams, Owner and Funder at Adams Energy LLC. The Shelburne Energy Committee, which was formed by residents Michael Prange and Ray Danforth, created the examination used by the Town of Shelburne to decide financing structure aimed at having solar energy projects garner positive savings starting in the first year of solar power operation.

The town hall’s solar energy system is expected to produce as much as 18,174 kWh of energy in its first year of operation and aimed at offsetting complete Town Hall’s energy needs. Moreover, the solar system is expected to offset around 12.8 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year.

Speaking on which, Dave Ranhoff who is the Chief Commercial Officer at Enphase Energy said that the team at 603 Solar has completed exceptional work in pulling together this solar system for the Town of Shelburne, which now can serve its community using renewable energy that pays for itself.

Mr. Ranhoff added that the company appreciates the trust 603 Solar has showed in the reliability and quality of Enphase products, and it is great to know that the community of Shelburne is now able to rely on solar power as a renewable and clean source at their town hall building.
