Pivot & Nautilus Solar to develop a 13 MW community solar projects

Pivot Energy, leading community solar and clean energy developer in Colorado, and Nautilus Solar Energy, a leading solar acquisition, development, and asset management firm, have reportedly announced a new partnership to develop 13 MWs (megawatts) of community solar capacity in Colorado. The combined portfolio would have seven different projects situated across four counties in southern and northeastern Colorado. The first of the solar farm is projected to be online in the first quarter of 2021.

Under the partnership agreement, Pivot would develop all solar gardens and offer ongoing customer management services through the company’s SunCentral platform. Meanwhile, Nautilus would construct, finance, and operate the solar portfolio. This is the first time both these solar giants are partnering to offer benefits of community solar to businesses and residents. Moreover, the portfolio also marks the entry of Nautilus in the Colorado community solar industry.

Pivot Energy CEO, Tom Hunt stated that Nautilus has proved to be an excellent partner for the company to collaborate with in generating more clean energy that provides environmental and economic benefits to the regions hosting these projects.

Hunt further added that as the popularity of community solar is grows, the company looks forward to continuing the collaboration with Nautilus as it works to develop a more centralized and resilient electric grid.

Pivot Energy’s cloud-based software service, SunCentral will be used to manage the portfolio of community solar. This software service offers convenient user features to its subscribers like energy production monitoring, downloadable financial reports, seamless bill payments, and much more.
